<p>PURPOSE:To generate no noise, eliminate the need to adjust the gap between a damper wire and a stopping means, and facilitate assembling operation by making the buffer member of the stopping means, arranged between a hammer shank and a damper mechanism, eccentric with a rotary shaft toward a hammer assembly. CONSTITUTION:The stopping means 52 which stops a hammer 28 from rotating unless strings are struck is composed of the rotary shaft 80 which has both end parts pivoted rotatably and the buffer member 81 which is fitted onto the shaft 80. This shaft 80 is divided in the axial direction and composed of plural divided shafts 80A and a connecting member 80B, which has its end part fixed eccentrically with the shaft 80A toward the hammer assembly 24. In this case, the interval gap between the member 80B and a damper wire 74 when the damper mechanism 15 rotates at a maximum angle is set larger. and consequently the wire 47 is prevented from abutting on the member 80B or member 81.</p> |
