PURPOSE:To improve brake controllability of a vehicle in which only one wheel of smaller diameter is mounted in the case of a tire punctured and the like by correcting speed of respective wheels based on detected wheel speed, and prohibiting control based on the wheel speed showing the maximum speed until the correction is completed. CONSTITUTION:A brake control unit 15 is provided with a booster device 17 increasing the step-down force of a brake pedal 16 given by a driver, and a master cylinder 18 generating brake pressure corresponding to the increased step-in force. A brake pressure supply passage 19 for front wheel led from the pressure chamber 18a of the master cylinder 18 is branched off on the middle part into a brake pressure supply passage 19a for a left front wheel and a brake pressure supply passage 19b for a right front wheel. Further, the brake pressure supply passages 19a, 19b for the left and right front wheels are provided with first and second valve units 20, 21 having electromagnetic type opening/closing valves 20a, 21a and electromagnetic type relief valves 20b, 21b. |
