PURPOSE:To secure an extensive view during the traveling at low speed, and give clear perspective during the traveling at high speed by providing a means to detect the traveling speed of a vehicle and a means to change the mode of display of a mirror part according to the detected traveling speed of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:The higher the traveling speed of a vehicle becomes, the lower the fluid pressure in a chamber 3 becomes as the position of a piston of an actuator 6 is retracted, and the deflection of a mirror part 1 is gradually reduced while the curvature becomes larger. The smaller of the traveling speed of the vehicle becomes, the farther the position of the piston of the actuator 6 is advanced, and the higher the fluid pressure in the chamber 3 becomes, and the deflection of the mirror part 1 is gradually increased, and the curvature becomes smaller. Thus, when the vehicle is traveling at low speed, the curvature of the mirror part 1 is reduced while the view is increased, allowing the extensive confirmation of the sides of the vehicle body. |
