METHOD OF MANUFACTURING FLAT FLEXIBLE CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing a flat flexible circuit and also a novel and improved method for transporting and keeping the circuit. CONSTITUTION: In this method, a flat flexible circuit is manufactured which comprises a flat flexible insulating substrate 24, having a conductive circuit material 42 and electronic parts 50 mounted on the substrate 24. This method includes a step of preparing a continuous strip for the substrate 24. The continuous strip is wound around a reel in such a state that electronic components are mounted on the strip for subsequent processing. The continuous substrate strip is provided with codes 44 which are to be read by a workstation.
