Explosive charge chain for mining applications

The charge chain has successively controlled detonation stages (S1, S2..), each having a detonator (ZE) for detonating at least one charge set, in series with the output circuit of a semiconductor switch (T). The series circuits are connected in parallel across supply lines (A, B, O) connected to a current pulse generator, the control terminal of each switch coupled to the tap-off of a voltage divider (R2, ZE) incorporated in the previous detonation stage. The junction between the detonator and the switch in each detonation stage is connected to the corresponding junction of the preceding stage via a diode (D) with the same conductivity direction as the switch. Each detonation stage may have 2 series detonators.
