<p>An apparatus for picking up and transferring trays from at least one sorting station (A) to destination stations (B), said sorting station (A) including a collecting surface for receiving a set of trays arranged side by side and containing different objects and/or different categories of objects. The apparatus is remarkable in that it comprises at least one gripper robot (3) moving along a guide path (2) extending along the collecting surface for individually picking up trays therefrom and selectively transferring them to the various destination stations (B). The apparatus is useful in a variety of industrial fields, such as for boning, trimming and cutting meat.</p> |
