The present invention relates to mono or dipotassium 2-ÄÄ5-ethyl-3-Ä2'-(1H-tetrazol-5-yl)biphenyl-4-ylÜmethyl-1,3,4-thiadia zolin-2-ylidenÜaminocarbonylÜ-1-cyclopentenecarboxylate, a pharmaceutical composition containing the compound, use of the compound for pharmaceuticals, and a therapeutic method of circulatory diseases by administering the compound. The mono or dipotassium salt of the compound has a potent angiotensin II antagonist activity and anti-hypertensive effect and also has high bioavailability when administered orally so that it is useful as a pharmaceutical.
