PURPOSE:To automatically execute manual closing processing necessary as the preprocessing of vehicle operation management work and synchronous with an opposite company to be operated in co-operation in a highway bus reservation system. CONSTITUTION:A transaction control means 5 receives seat reservation data received from a reservation terminal 3 from transmitting/receiving means 4, verifies whether the data are within a reservation availble period or not and whether a seat to be reserved exists or not, and when the data satisfy the reservation requests, updates a seat reservation data base 7 through a seat reservation data base updating means 6, issues reservation data for a seat reservation data base 11 to a host 2, compares the udated result of the data bases 7, 11 with the requested contents of seat reservation data received from the terminal 3, determines (COMMIT) or cancels (roll back) the updated contents of the data bases 7, 11, and transmits the updated result to the terminal 3. |
