PURPOSE:To realize an optical transmitter-receiver and an optical transmitter excellent in production yield by dismounting/mounting a light emitting section unit of a light receiving section unit from/on the body so as to make optical transmission reception characteristics variable. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting section unit 22 is fitted to a groove 35 of an enclosure 34 so that a sleeve 26 is set toward a receptacle 20 thereby making electrodes 32, 23 of a light receiving section unit 23 in contact with terminals 38, 40 in grooves 35, 36 of the enclosure 34. Thus, the electric connection is made between a light emitting element 24, a light receiving element 34 and an electronic printed circuit board 21. Furthermore, mechanical connection is made between the case 34 and the light emitting section unit 22 and the light receiving section unit 23 by engaging a claw 30 and a ditch 39 and engaging a claw 31 and a ditch 41. A lead pin 37 of the case 34 for the transmitter- receiver is connected to an external circuit and an external optical connector is connected to the receptacle 20. |
