<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a driving noise to be produced at the time of the startup of a pump by installing an orifice in a discharge passage at the side more downstream than a discharge valve, in this electromagnetic pump being equipped with a piston which is reciprocated by electromagnetic force. CONSTITUTION:In this electromagnetic pump, an interrupted current is energized and a magnet coil is excited, whereby a magnetic plunger is displaced against a spring and thereby resilience is stored in this spring for energization. In time of the magnet coil unenergized, the magnetic plunger is displaced in the opposite direction by dint of accumulative-energizing force in the spring, and a piston 15 ranging to this magnetic plunger is reciprocated, whereby a variation is given to volumetric capacity in a pump case, and in time of expanding the capacity, an inlet valve 18 is opened, drawing a fluid thereinto, but in time of contracting the capacity, a discharge valve 19 is opened, making this fluid flow out of a discharge passage 25. In the pump like this, an orifice 27 throttling a passage sectional area is installed in this discharge passage 25, whereby the startup of pressure in the pump case is accelerated and simultaneously a driving noise in time of the pump startup is reduced as far as specified.</p> |
