<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet feeder reducing the manufacturing cost and improving feed/separation performance of a sheet. CONSTITUTION:A device comprises a lower case 7 capable of loading a plurality of sheets received, feed roller 12 for feeding the sheet loaded to be received to the lower case 7 and a contact roller 14a brought into contact with the sheet 5 on the downstream in a sheet feed direction from the feed roller 12 in order to bring the sheet into contact with the feed roller 12. Further, the device comprises a separation clearance part 7e corresponding to thickness of one or two sheets for separating one by one a plurality of the sheets loaded to be received to the lower case 7 and a guide rib formed with a sloped surface such as coming near a conveying surface of the sheet, in accordance with approaching the separation clearance part 7e, to guide a point end part of this sheet to the separation clearance part 7e.</p> |
