A supporting structure comprises at least two fixedly interconnected structural modules (10), which each include two elongate elements having much less thickness than width. Each element is substantially inflexible about an axis parallel to the thickness direction of the element. The elements of each module are fixedly interconnected in V-shape, the thickness directions essentially coinciding at the junction. Each element of every module is similarly fixedly connected in V-shape to one of the elements of another module and is twisted about an axis parallel to the longitudinal direction of the element, as well as optionally bent about an axis parallel to the width direction of the element. |
