PURPOSE:To provide an oxide superconductor in bulk form having an excellent superconductivity by applying a coating film of superconducting slurry to a die consisting of superconducting bulk and performing the operating cycles consisting of defatting, sintering, and pressurization repetitively as applicable. CONSTITUTION:A binder, plasticizer, and dispersing agent are added to a superconductive powder of oxide type so that an oxide superconducting slurry 2 is formed. A die made of a flammable material such as paper or a base board 1 formed from a cylinder of ceramic or superconductor is immersed in this superconducting slurry 2 so that a coating film of slurry 2 is produced over the surface of the die or base board 1. The coating film is dried at 50-150 deg.C in the atmosphere. This operating sequence is repeated several tens of cycles, and a superconducting coating film is fabricated. Therefrom the binder is removed, followed by sintering and pressurization so that the density is heightened. A further sintering process yields a completed product. Therein the viscosity coefficient of the superconducting slurry should preferably be between 1000-4000cps. |
