The equipment can be used in the treatment of natural and waste water. The efficiency of the treatment of waters from difficult to degrade organic pollutants in the reaction between anaerobic and aerobic active sludges is improved. The equipment includes a natural aquifer (20) connected to infiltration and water intake equipment (1 & 2) in subsequently positioned aerobic and anaerobic sections. In the upper part, above the level of the depression surface and above the level of the ground formations, horizontal water- and gas-impermeable barriers (6) are fitted having edges folded from all sides (8). Blast blowers (16) and fans (23) having airducts (15) form air (27) and ventilation (21) curtains connected to ventilation drainages (25) and chimneys (26).
