This sealing system is located between a wall (2) having an opening, and a closure surface (1) which can move with respect to this wall. It includes an elastic sealing strip (3) and two ribs (5, 6) situated on the edge of the opening, the first (6) of which, viewed from the opening, almost completely closes the slot between the wall (2) and the surface (1) and the second (5) of which presses against the sealing strip (3) located on the closure surface (1) when the latter is in the "closed" position.
