The plastics moulded shell (32) forming the carrier has its side edges with a raised rail (36) by which the carrier can be lifted with two hands. The rails also form supports for the safety belt fittings to secure the carrier onto a vehicle seat. The inner fitting has a separate shell which adjusts to different sleeping inclinations. The upper rails support demountable table trays, sliding covers and other fittings. The rear part of the carrier has the rails taken round the heat support. The rails are spaced sufficiently from the top edge of the carrier to allow finger grip. USE/ADVANTAGE - Safe support for small child in vehicle is simple to fit and remove.
