The transmission has a hydraulic motor (1) mounted in a forward facing housing (10a) and with the hydraulic motors (2,3) mounted in the axle housing, linked to the motor housing in a single unit. The motors and pump are mounted in the housing using elsatic supports (7,8,9) to isolate the housing from transmission noises. The pump and motors form a compact transmission unit connected by hydraulic pipes. The elastic mountings include voids filled with a damping medium and simulate a three point support for the transmission system. The wheels are connected to the motors by reduction gearings (4,5).
