Self cleaning linear bearing for hand held thermal injectors

The bearing has a hollow rail (3) with a square cross section and with pairs of bearing tracks on adjacent faces of the rail. The pairs of tracks are gripped by the conical bearing surfaces (6) of pairs of guide wheels (5). The area of contact between each conical surface and the track provides a set amount of slip which provides a self cleaning effect. The bearing surfaces at set at 45 deg. to the housing (2) which holds the bearing wheels. Drive is provided by a rack and pinion drive with the rack (15) cut into one edge of the hollow rail.
