Data processing apparatus has at least first and second bus architectures and adaptor connection means comprising guide means for receiving first and second removable adaptors. First electrical contact means is located in the guide means for connecting the first adaptor to the first bus architecture. Second electrical contact means is located in the guide means for connecting the second adaptor to the second bus architecture. <IMAGE>
