<p>PURPOSE:To provide a flexible tube with high heat insulating ability enabling the prevention of high temperature salt damage by disposing an inner bellows and an outer bellows integrally through a space holding member, and forming a space part secured between the inner and outer bellows, into a vacuum layer. CONSTITUTION:In a flexible tube 1, annular crest parts and root parts 11 are alternately disposed by forming an inner bellows 2 and an outer bellows 4 integrally, with glass wool serving as a space holding member held in between, and the inside of a space part 40 held between the inner bellows 2 and the outer bellows 4 by the glass wool 3 is formed as a vacuum layer 5 by exhausting air in the space part 40. The flexible tube 1 of such constitution is applied specially to the exhaust system of a vehicle, and high heat insulating ability allowing the generation of high temperature salt damage to be prevented even in the salt damage area of North America or the like.</p> |
