<p>PURPOSE:To prevent stagnation of bubbles in an ink tube to enhance the printing quality. CONSTITUTION:An ink tube 21 is made of a polyethylene resin or a polypropylene resin. The material is treated with ozone, whereby the molecular structure of the surface of the material is modified to have OH groups. An activity is increased, an ink repellency is suppressed, and a wettability by ink is enhanced. As a result, a stagnant bubble, if existing, is easily removed, and the printing quality can be enhanced. In addition, the use of oxygen gas loaded with nitrogen gas of the same amount as the oxygen gas as a raw material gas for producing ozone further increases an improving effect.</p> |
