PURPOSE:To perform comparison verification of new and old business documents at a high speed for each unit of a sentence or each unit of the end of a paragraph by recognizing plural records consisting document data, and performing matching verification of records respectively contained in plural document data. CONSTITUTION:A matching verification program is loaded from a program library 14. A comparison reference document A17 as the old document data and a comparison object document B18 as the new document data are loaded from a disk 13 for document preservation to a main storage device 19. The instruction of matching verification start to the matching verification program is inputted from a keyboard 12, a message from the matching verification program is outputted and displayed on a display device 11, and the final result of matching verification is outputted to a printer 10. Then, a record recognizing means classifys the document data composed of requentially inputted character strings in the unit of records having certin semantics, then the plural records constituting the document data are recognized. |
