<p>PURPOSE:To easily manufacture the switch and heighten the contact pressure at the same operating force, by operating a cam in connection with a lever operated by the operator and moving an arm connected to the cam to turn on the contact. CONSTITUTION:The cam 24 is fixed on a shaft 15. When the operating lever is pulled up, the cam 24 is moved in the direction of the arrow. Then, the arm 18-1 is turned centering a fulcrum 17-1 to bring a moving contact into touch with a normally open contact 2. Simultaneously, a return spring 19 is pushed to heighten the contact pressure between a moving contact 6 and a normally closed contact 7. Thereby, the contact pressure is heightened at the same operating froce. The motion of the contacts is accelerated by the form of the cam 24. Therefore, the speed of turn-on/off is raised. Moreover, the arc is reduced when the current is cut off.</p> |
