<p>PURPOSE: To provide the device for selecting or detecting copy form size or determining the resizing of a copy by using an image input scanner and/or editing pad. CONSTITUTION: This device has a form feeder which has a stack of forms, a printer which is so adapted as to receive forms from the form feeder, and an input means which is placed at a distance from the form feeder and decides the size of one of the forms, and the printer is a print system which corresponds with the form size decided by the input means so as to print the indicia of the form and is so adapted as to print the indicia on the form. An editing pad 130 can detects a two-dimensional rectangular area on the copy form according to the decision of one input point on the editing pad. A processor decides the size of the rectangle on the basis of the predetermined base point of an intersection of an (x) and a (y) axis, the input point, and individual (y) points on the (y) axis.</p> |
