METHOD FOR BINARIZATION OF TEXT IMAGE USING FUZZY LOGIC

the 1st step which infers a light and dark figure of a document image according to the 1st fuzzy rule predetermined using a background information as input data, the background information being formed by using input data by means of background analysis mask: the 2nd step which selects one of the multiple rules according to the background light and dark figue of a document image; the 3rd step which decides a binarization threshold value by carrying out fuzzy inferring of local analysis; and the 4th step which binarizes central image element of the local analysis mask by that threshold.
