EDITING PROCESSING METHOD FOR MULTI-MEDIA DATA AND WORK STATION

PURPOSE:To perform the editing processing of a multi-media data only with an icon moving operation on the display picture of a work station. CONSTITUTION:An editing processing program 61 controls the editing processing corresponding to positional relations between adjacent icons. A table 71 manages the correspondence between the editing processing program 61 and inter-icon positional relations. A table 72 manages the correspondence between icons on a display device 3 and a voice data group 73. A controller 1 refers to the table 71 by operator's icon moving operation to start the editing processing program corresponding to positional relations between the moved icon and adjacent icons. A synthesizer 5 refers to the table 72 to read out voice data corresponding to the moved icon and adjacent icons from the voice data group 73 and performs the editing processing determined by the program.
