PURPOSE:To prevent drain production efficiency in a subheat exchange part from being lowered in a heat exchanger having a function of condensing water vapor in a combustion exhaust and forcing the heat exchange part to absorb latent heat of the condensed water vapor by providing a partition plate extending from the upstream side of a main heat exchange part to the downstream side of the subheat exchange part. CONSTITUTION:A hot water supplier includes a can 6 provided on the lower part of a body of the supplier for accomodating a heat exchanger 1, and a combustion apparatus 3 composed of first and second gas burners 3a, 3b provided on the upper part of the can 6, and further an air supply box 7 including an air supply chamber 42 and disposed on the upper part of the combustion apparatus 3. There is provided at a lower end opening in the can 6 an exhaust passage 21 vertically extending in the hot water supplier body. The heat exchanger 1 is constructed with a chief heat exchange part la for chiefly absorbing latent heat in combustion exhaust, and a subheat exchange part lb disposed below the chief heat exchange part for chiefly absorbing latent heat in the combustion exhaust. In the can 6 two heat exchange chambers 61, 62 are defined at the center thereof with a vertical partition plate 60, and 985 burners 3a, 3b are disposed facing the heat chambers 61, 62. |
