PURPOSE:To prevent direct inter-slave set speaking from being performed between terminal equipments which are not registered on an independent base station by providing a discrimination means for discriminating whether the digital cordless telephone terminal equipment is already registered or not. CONSTITUTION:When the terminal equipment requests the direct inter-slave set speaking, a control part 5 controls a discrimination part 10 so as to discriminate the contents of a part to record the registration of the independent base station inside a storage part 9. As a result, when the contents of a system calling code in the storage part 9 are still kept as they are at the time of factory forwarding, the non-registration of the terminal equipment on the independent base station is judged and it is reported to the control part 5. While receiving this report, the control part 5 stops the sequence of the direct inter-slave set speaking. When the contents of the system calling code record the information already registered on the independent base station, while receiving this report, the control part 5 continues the sequence of the direct inter-slave set speaking.
