<p>PURPOSE:To protect a circuit using a code external to a circuit system itself as a sensing element on the + and -sides thereof. CONSTITUTION:A circuit system comprising a comparing circuit 3, a shutdown circuit 2 and a constant voltage circuit 1 is connected with an output cord 4 comprising a + side code 6a, a -side code 6b and a sensing cord 6s. The + side cord 6a and the sensing cord 6s in the output cord 6 are short-circuited at terminal A and the voltage drop between the + and - side cords 6a, 6b due to overcurrent is sensed through the sensing cord 6s thus protecting the circuit. This circuitry suppresses the temperature rise under overcurrent load and stabilizes the voltage thus enhancing the reliability.</p> |
