PURPOSE:To provide an information processor which can process data at a high speed by dividing the data in (n) dimensions and storing these divided data in a cache memory. CONSTITUTION:A cache memory 10 stores the data divided in (n) dimensions into four storage areas, for example, and a processor 2 designates an n- dimensional address and issues a data access request. Thus a deciding means 12 uses the divided address shown by the n-dimensional address as an index address. Then the means 12 refers to the management data on a TAG memory 11 to decide whether the divided data pointed by the issued n-dimensional address are validly registered in the memory 10. If decided so, an access executing means 13 sets the divided data stored in a specified storage area as an access subject. Then the means 13 has an access to the subject data by means of an address stored in the divided data contained in the n-dimensional address. |
