With the hookmount (1), fixed to a vertical or horizontal surface, objects may promptly and easily be suspended, independent of shape and size, in the cord (10). The hookmount is fixed with screws or straps in the apertures (6, 7). Objects are suspended by bringing the cord (10) in or around the object, and thereafter hanging the cord (10) on the hook (2). The suspension can be performed promptly and easily using only one hand. The elasticity of the cord, and the ability to adjust the length or change the cord in the adjusting holes (3, 4), makes it possible to suspend objects of disparate shape and size. The force of gravity holds the object in place in the cord (10) at the same time as the cord is held in place by the hook (2). The hookmount can be made in various sizes, with different angles and also in a special two- or three-part type, depending on the object to be suspended and where the hookmount is to be fixed.
