This device is of the type comprising a sound vibration emission chamber (A) connected by a treatment circuit (7) to the leaktight nasal adapter (2b) of a nebuliser (2), a vibration generation chamber (B), a suction chamber (C), a control chamber (D) supplied by a generator (4) by means of a circuit (6-6a), a storage tank (34), and means (43) for releasing a control pressure. According to the invention, the chamber (D) for controlling the generation of sound vibrations is separate from the chamber (F) for controlling overpressurisation and is connected, on one side, to the pulsed air source (4) and, on the other side, to an exhaust circuit (28) including closure means (37) reacting to the presence of an overpressure in a branch circuit (6b) of the circuit (6) for supplying the nebuliser (2) with pulsed air, while, taken on its own, the chamber (F) for controlling overpressurisation is connected by a circuit (12), for control and transfer, to the treatment circuit (7), the latter chamber (F) being separated from an equilibration chamber (E) by a membrane (29) which closes a nozzle (32) connected to the tank (34).
