Ball coupling with two coaxial coupling rings

The end surfaces at least of the coupling rings (5,6) consist of initially powdery material, compressed into a single moulding and in which are V-shaped grooves (10,11) holding the balls. The end surfaces of the coupling rings are made of sintered metal or ceramic material. The ball-holder grooves have ball-guide surfaces formed by notches. The grooves at least partly are narrower than the wall thickness of the coupling rings. The coupling rings have a fixture on the end furthest from the ball-holder grooves.
