<p>PURPOSE:To put identification marks having various kinds of identifiability to a golf ball without easy dissipation and to permit easy identification of this ball. CONSTITUTION:This golf ball 10 has a spherical inner core 11 consisting of a rubber-like resin cd is provided with an external core layer 12 consisting of a white rubber-like resin, a coating material layer 13 consisting of a white resin coating material and a clear coating layer 14 consisting of a transparent resin in this order on its outer side. The outer peripheral surface of the inner core 11, i.e., the inner side of the outer core layer 12 is provided with at least two bar code printing parts 21 formed by using ink detectable from above the outside surface in such a manner that the scan directions of the respective bar codes are nearly orthogonal to each other. The bar codes are read from the fixed position on the outside surface of the golf ball 10 constituted in such a manner while the golf ball 10 is kept rotated at different speeds simultaneously around the two axes of rotation nearly orthogonal with each other.</p> |
