PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material reduced in the lowering of whiteness with the elapse of time and having high sensitivity and preservability. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material obtained by providing a thermal recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored electron donating color forming dye, 4,4'-bis(p-toluensullfonylaminocarbonylamino) diphenylmethane being an electron acceptive acidic substance reacting with the dye under heating to develop a color, petroleum wax and methylolated fatty acid amide on at least the single surface of a sheet like support, aluminum hydroxide is further added to the thermal recording layer as pigment. |
