PURPOSE:To obtain a leather-like sheetlike laminate capable of forming a bag, a knapsack, cases having lightweight, high hardness and leather-like looks by heating and vacuum forming by a few processes in a short time. CONSTITUTION:This leather-like sheetlike laminate is obtained by interlacing a leather-like sheetlike material 1 with a mixed web of polyester fibers consisting essentially of ethylene terephthalate and having >=220 deg.C melting point and thermally fusible fibers to provide a nonwoven fabric 3, optionally further laminating a back material layer 4 to the nonwoven fabric 3 side. Bonding between the leather-like sheetlike material 1 and the nonwoven fabric 3 and optionally to the back material layer 4 to be laminated is preferably carried out with a urethane-based or rubber latex-based adhesive or a hot-melt adhesive 2. The nonwoven fabric usually has 100-1,200-g/m<2> weight and has preferably 100-600g/m<2> light weight so as to further improve thermal moldability. |
