PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester film which is excellent in hiding power, tensile strength, film-forming properties, and productivity even when it is thin. CONSTITUTION:A polyester is mixed with an inorg. powder and/or a thermoplastic resin incompatible with the polyester, extruded, and oriented at least in one direction to give the objective polyester film with a thickness of 10-45mum, a light transmission of 30% or lower, a whiteness of 75 or higher, and a tensile strength at least in one direction of 10kg/mm<2> or higher. |
