Method for erecting a foldable box from a one-part cardboard blank which has a bottom surface, side walls articulated on this via folding lines and a front wall and rear wall, there being formed on the side wall flaps which are folded into the region of the front and rear walls, and which is coated at least partially with a sealable plastic. At the same time, the two side walls are first erected in that the cardboard blank is pressed into a U-shaped bottom mould (4).
