PURPOSE:To provide the heat insulated container which is excellent in heat insulating performance, light in weight, and capable of enhancing its volumetric efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A heat insulating layer 5 is formed by sealing low heat conductive gas such as xenon and the like in a cavity between the inner and outer containers of a double container 4 having a double wall structure where the inner container 2 and the outer container 1 are combined integrally with each other, and radiation protection material 6 composed of a metallic foil is applied to either one of the outer surface of the inner container or the inner surface of the outer container or both of them. |
