<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet separation roller capable of preventing stains on a document and having sufficient sheet separating force. CONSTITUTION:This sheet separation roller 1 is constituted of a mandrel 2, an elastic body layer 3 formed on the outer periphery of the mandrel 2, and a surface layer 4 made of a thermoplastic resin and formed on the outer periphery of the elastic body layer 3. The hardness Hs (JIS A) of the elastic body layer 3 is set to 20-80, and the friction coefficient against a sheet of the surface layer 4 is set to 0.15-0.45.</p> |
