An installation is for fastening a laundry dryer (5) on a radiator (1) with two vertical risers (2). The dryer is equipped with two telescopic arms (12) and several laundry rods (14) extending between the arms (12). Two mechanical cross-section elements (7) are each fixed on a riser (2) or firmly connected to the riser (2). The cross-section elements (7) feature a first set of fastening means which act in conjunction with a second set of fastening means located on the dryer (5).
