PURPOSE:To improve reaction sensitivity and to improve operability of a remote control device by a method wherein a light receiving filter is disposed to the stepped part of a base on which a stepped part having the stay part side located in a higher level is formed, and a light receiving part to receive an operation signal inputted to the light receiving filter is arranged at a side closer to the stay part side of the light receiving filter. CONSTITUTION:A base 4 on which a stay part to support the blast part of an electric fan is erected is formed such a manner that a support base 4a integrally arranged at the lower end of the stay part is combined with an annular base board 4b. A stepped part 3 is formed at one end of the support base 4a in a state to be situated in a level higher than that of the base board 4b. A light receiving filter 5 is arranged at the stepped part 3 in such a manner to be exposed to the outside. The light receiving part 6 to receive an operation signal (infrared rays) from a remote control device entering the light receiving filter 5 is arranged closer to the support part side of the light receiving filter 5. This constitution increases the input angle of the operation signal and inputs the operation signal directly to the light receiving part 6, whereby incurring of a loss owing to reflection by the light receiving filter 5 is reduced to an extremely low value and reaction speed is improved. |
