PURPOSE:To prevent a sheet end part from being displaced in wedge shape during the operation of a stapler in a sheet treatment device with stapler of which needle drive-out part is arranged at the lower part of a compile tray and of which needle support part is arranged at the upper part of it. CONSTITUTION:A sheet treatment device is provided with a compile tray C in which multiple sheets S to be carried in are stored under stacked condition and a stapler T which staples the sheets S stored in the compiler tray C. Also the stapler T is provided with a needle supporting part T2 arranged over the compile tray C and a needle drive-out part T1 which approaches to the needle supporting part T2 from its underside. Then the means 21 for supporting the compile tray C swingably and means 31 to 36 for moving the compile tray C upward during the operation of the stapler so as to move the sheet S closely to the needle supporting part T2 before a needle is drive out. |
