The support aid is formed as a shoulder cushion (2) which is positioned in front of the head (1) of the ski binding. The cushion is wedge shaped in the longitudinal direction such that it is raised at its rear end to a specific height (3). The support aid has a self adhesive surface pref. made out of a vulcanized material. The cushion has a hardness of about 20 to 25 Shore.
