PURPOSE:To provide a reference electrode which can be used as a single electrode while grasping the extent of aging of the electrode body by providing a required number of relatively small electrode bodies, connectable through insulated wires, integrally through insulating intervals on the surface of an insulator. CONSTITUTION:The reference electrode 11 comprises a disc insulator 12, a required number of small electrode bodies (silver-silver chloride) 13A-13J disposed integrally in the center on the surface of the insulator 12, an externally threaded fixing metal 14 provided in the rear center while projecting therefrom, and a required number of insulated wires 15 connected with the electrode bodies 13A-13J and led out from the insulator 12 while penetrating the fixing metal 14. The electrodes 13A-13J are arranged through insulation intervals and the metal 14 is filled with a waterproof resin. When the wires 15 of the electrode bodies 13A-13J are connected together, parallel connection is realized and thereby the reference electrode 11 can be used as a single electrode. Furthermore, the potential difference between the electrode bodies 13A-13J can be measured at the installation site. |
