PURPOSE:To improve the sliding operation and the carrying ability of a rotating brush in a developer recovering layer in which used developer is brushed and is made to adhere to a mesh member by the rotating brush so as to be fed to a developing device with passing through the mesh member. CONSTITUTION:The rotating brush 56 in which a brush column is spirally provided around a rotary shaft is rotatably provided in a state where it slides on the mesh member 60. As to the rotating brush 56; the rotary shaft 57 is formed by stranding two line materials 57a and 57b and also the brush column 58 is formed by pinching the middle of the length of a brush fur between the line materials 57a and 57b so as to be two lines of spiral column. The two lines of spiral column 58 brushes the used developer on the mesh member 60, so that the used developer passes through the member 60; on the other hand, coarse particles and paper powder which do not pass through the member 60 are conveyed, separated and removed by the brush column 58. |
