PURPOSE:To easily and efficiently modify an oriented film in the method for manufacturing an orientation division type liquid crystal display panel. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of the orientation division type liquid crystal display panel, ultraviolet rays having 200-350nm wavelength are used to selectively irradiate the oriented film 9 and the manufacture is carried out in an atmosphere of <=5% oxygen density; when plural light sources are used for the irradiation and scattered light is used, plural screens 12 are arrayed at equal intervals between a glass substrate 1 and the light source 10 perpendicularly to the substrate surface to obtain parallel light, and the glass substrate 1 and light sources 10 are relatively swung, thus manufacturing the liquid crystal display panel. |
