<p>PURPOSE:To measure the tension of strip material at an arbitrary position in the width direction. CONSTITUTION:At an upper horizontal piece 22a of a support part 22 arranged so as to put the running path of belt material 12 in between, a nozzle 24 directing to the strip material 12 is arranged. Due to the compressed air blown out of the nozzle 24, the material 12 displaces in the thickness direction. At the lower horizontal piece 22b of a support part, a distortion sensor 28 is arranged facing the nozzle 24 across the strip material 12. Based on the displacement of the material 12 detected by the sensor 28, a calculation means 30 calculates the tension. The support part 22 is arranged on a slider 34 placed free of movement in the width direction of the material 12. To the slider 34, an endless belt 40 running in the normal and reversal directions with the aid of a motor 42 is coupled. That is, the nozzle 24 and the displacement sensor 28 moves to an arbitrary position in the width direction of the strip material 12 by driving the motor 42 normally and reversely.</p> |
