PURPOSE:To realize the transmission method of electronic mail by converting a transmission text into a voice signal and sending it as a voice mail if a reception is available by a voice signal even when the reception of the electronic mail by FAX is not available in the terminals at the transmission destination. CONSTITUTION:The electronic text is stored and it is sent as a facsimile mail and as a voice mail to the terminal connected by the line. An S1 calls a terminal T at the transmission destination of the electronic mail from a line device 10 and an S2 waits the detection of the carrier signal from the terminal T after the replay of the terminal T at the transmission destination. An S3 detects the carrier sound until a timer 20 becomes time-out. An S4 converts the electronic text to be sent in a text storage device 30 into a voice signal by a text conversion part 40 when no carrier sound is detected and an S5 sends the transmission text converted into the voice signal. |
