PURPOSE:To make a laser beam to accurately form an image on a photoreceptor without using an Qtheta lens by curving the surface of the photoreceptor corresponding to a position where the laser beam forms the image. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor belt 2 is constituted of an elastic endless belt where a photoconductive layer is formed on its surface, and supported by rollers 3 and 4 so that it may be stretched by them. The roller 3 is recessed from the ends to the center, where the belt 2 is curved along the roller 3 in the scanning direction of the laser beam L, and exposure is performed with the laser beam L at the curved part. Since the belt 2 is curved corresponding to the position where the laser beam forms the image at an exposing position, the laser beam accurately forms the image on the belt 2 even when the ftheta lens is not used. |
